At Inygon, we've always placed a lot of importance on amateur competitions, as one of our main objectives is to promote esports as actual sports, which includes growing the player base to feed the upper competitive echelons, especially in an exporting region such as our own.
Last year, in partnership with GGTech, we remodelled the WGR LPLOL 2nd division into the Circuito Tormenta, providing our local players not only with a new second division, now called Liga Promessa (Promise League) but also with new tournaments that opened an opportunity for new aspiring players to prove themselves, and to either earn their place amongst the top or to be drafted into more competitive teams. This work is fundamental for the success of professional competitions, with many players having already walked this path into the more professional levels.
This year, we're not continuing the path of Circuito Tormenta while also adding new sports into it, namely Valorant and Wild Rift, Riot Games' new FPS and mobile games!
We hope that with this, we keep giving all our local players opportunities to further develop their skills, or to just have fun with their friends while playing their favourite games, while paving the way for a professional and competitive scenario in both Valorant and Wild Rift, and of course, League of Legends!
